Lady’s Mantle This Hardy Border Perennial is suitable for a position where little else will grow, and a green patch is required. The yellow-green star shaped flowers are usual, set in intricately branched heads suspended above attractive foliage.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hardy evergreen perennial plants 6 – 12in in height. They have attractive tiny greenish yellow flowers in the summer, and are mainly grown in the herbaceous border to fill a bare patch, the value of such a hardy border plant to most gardeners is they are very easy to grow and will survive in almost any location. The plants will go native if left to there own devices, meaning self seed like mad.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Alchemilla. Lady’s Mantle, belongs to the rose family and grows wild in the mountains of Europe, and Central America.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The best varieties of Alchemilla Lady’s Mantle to grow are Alchemilla Lady’s Mantle alpina which will reach in high about 6 inches, having grey green leaves, also Alchemilla Lady’s Mantle vulgaris, 9-12in all Alchemilla Lady’s Mantle bear small green-yellow flowers.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The best variety we have grown to date is Alchemilla Lady’s Mantle ‘mollis thriller’ this new variety has larger flowers than the older varieties of Alchemilla Lady’s Mantle the star shaped flowers are very attractive held above the leaves on strong stems.
